Wax Motif has released his Forsaken EP on AC Slater’s Night Bass label. The Australian G House prodigy is known for his renowned viral remixes for artists like YG, Kid Ink, Chromeo, deadmau5, and Warren G.

Wax Motif is an Australian producer and has proven to the electronic music industry that he’s one of the most forward, prominent names in the bass house sound. He pulls inspiration from R&B, disco, and UK bass and has had records that have landed on a few of the industry’s heavyweight labels, including Diplo’s Mad Decent, A-Trak’s Fool’s Gold, Tchami’s Confession, and Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records.

The Forsaken EP dives nose first into the UK bass sound with “Forsaken.” The track’s vocal samples pulsate and drive the rhythm throughout the track’s entirety. The second track, “Mental,” features Brazilian producer Ricci for a deeper bass sound that thrives on the G House genre that Wax Motif is known for.
