“We all want to hold something beautiful,” sings Eric Lumiere in “Something Beautiful.”

Well, Tritonal, you’ve done exactly that with Coalesce.

Adding to its already stark sound are myriad of towering vocalists, including EMME, HALIENE, Marlhy, and more. Their vocals are the perfect ingredient to a smooth trance sound across the album. The 18-track album has a home at Enhanced Music, a revered trance and progressive house label.

Coalesce is Tritonal’s true representation of their relationship with music. Throughout the album’s creation, the duo reflected on their experiences together and came to terms with their lives as musicians, purpose as musicians, and went back to their original roots.

In a press release shared with EDM In A Soda, the duo said Coalesce is the first time they’ve had such a cohesive body of work. They added that most of the songs were written on a writing camp, where songwriters were pointed in the message they wanted to share in the lyrics.

“We’re most excited for fans to really follow through the journey of this record,” Tritonal says. “It’s the first time we have such a cohesive piece of work consisting of an album. We wouldn’t say it’s a concept album, but it is definitely themed from the actual songs to every detail of the artwork and aesthetic. A majority of these songs were written in a writing camp, where the writers really set intentions on the messaging and collaboration, found ways to be in nature throughout the time there and really tap into a place of truth. And we’re excited to share this will all of you!”

Tritonal kicked off their Coalesce Album Tour last week in Los Angeles, California and will continue to bring their sound around the US with stops in cities like Washington DC, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Boston, Dallas, and more.

In addition to their album tour, the revered electronic music duo will host “Tritonia 400” in their hometown of Austin, TX to celebrate their 400th episode of their weekly podcast on October 1. This show will include a daytime yoga practice to their Reverence album from 2021. Sets will be performed by Cosmic Gate, Gabriel & Dresden, Matt Fax, and Farius.
