Patrick Cybulski, better known to his followers as k?d, has taken the electronic music industry by storm with his heavyweight releases. Since he started rearing his name into the industry by producing some of the hottest remixes for some of the biggest names, k?d has completely owned the electronic music scene. He’s now released a cunning remix of The Chainsmokers‘ smash hit, “Young.”
K?d’s mysterious sound has transformed into just about every electronic genre, and his take on “Young” is yet another forward-moving evolution of his sound. He takes The Chainsmokers’ emotional vibe and allows it to shine while complementing it with superbly crafted production elements, including pads, edgy synths, vocoders, and Phil Collins-inspired percussion during the drop. Atmospheric, moody, and huge are only a few minor adjectives that barely describe this epic remix.
The Chainsmokers is an electronic, pop duo that consists of Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall. Their breakthrough track “#Selfie,” which was released on Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records back in 2014, launched their career into instant stardom. The track achieved top 20 status in several countries. They’ve won a Grammy for Best Dance Recording at the 59th annual awards ceremony. They also have won two American Music Awards and five iHeartRadio Music Awards. In April of 2017, they released their debut studio album Memories…Do Not Open.
