STMPD RCRDS and Tomorrowland Music have joined together for the second edition of their collaborative EP.

After last year’s success, the two formidable labels are curating another cut-throat EP. DubVision‘s “P.R.O.G.2” is the first release, which proceeds the duo’s “P.R.O.G.” from last year. STMPD RCRDS label boss Martin Garrix, Matisse & Sadko, Julian Jordan, Sentinel, Fancy Inc, and Goodboys all have tracks set to appear on this year’s EP.

In addition, the labels will be co-hosting their own STMPD RCRDS and Tomorrowland Music stage at Tomorrowland Belgium on Saturday, July 22.

“P.R.O.G.2” opens with a laidback atmosphere paired with blissful synth plucks and vocal chops. DubVision treats listeners to a sound that is chock-full of feel-good energy and nostalgia that is sure to become the soundtrack of 2023’s festival season.

“After the first release with Tomorrowland Music we just knew we had to do a follow-up for the next festival season,” DubVision said in a press release shared with EDM In a Soda. “We are delighted to announce ‘P.R.O.G.2’ for this year and bring back the energy to all the mainstages around the world. We chose to not add a vocal to this track because we feel like the instrumental is so strong, and we would love to hear what original mashups people make with this track once again.”

In December 2022, STMPD RCRDS label head Martin Garrix partnered with JBL to create a music academy for emerging artists. The academy would bring in a number of dance music experts to host special sessions. The classes for the course started on March 28, and future students needed to submit three demos, a two-minute motivational video about them as an artist, and meet submission criteria.

“I’m super excited about this music academy,” Garris told DJ Mag at the time. “The focus for us at SMPD RCRDS is already on emerging talent, but thanks to this collaboration with JBL we can provide a platform to a large group of new talent from all over the world.”
