A collaboration match made in Heaven, Snails, Kill The Noise, Sullivan King, and Jonah Kay “Shake The Ground” in a fiery dubstep original on Slugz Music. “Shake The Ground” marks Snails’ first release on his new Slugz Music label.
The Montreal-based DJ, producer, and now record label owner, Snails, lays the framework for his new label with this fiery first release. With Kill The Noise’s impeccable sound design, Sullivan King and Jonah Kay’s rock and roll influences, this first release on Slugz Music is slimy from the first bar. In addition, “Shake The Ground” is chock-full of intense basses and edgy metallic synths. The culmination of all four musical talents surely shakes the ground with bone-rattling elements plastered throughout.
“We wanted to try something new and different on this one and bring our metal and rock n’ roll roots into the song,” Snails explains. “The energy of the crowds when we drop this song at festivals is what makes it all worth it. Really, really proud of this one!”
Sullivan King hasn’t been quiet, either. He released a massive EP, titled Come One, Come All, not long ago, which features a hard-hitting complextro track called “Step Back.”
Snails has quickly made a name for himself over the last few years. Having spent a few years crafting and perfecting his sticky sound, he came to the conclusion that his music has no boundaries. His self-proclaimed “Vomitstep” has caught the eyes and ears of many, including Skrillex and Diplo.
