RL Grime drops ‘Nova Remixes Vol. 1’ with k?d, Said The Sky, 1788-L

Featuring remixes from artists like 1788-L, Myrne, Said The Sky, k?d, AWAY, Eptic, and more, RL Grime has released his heavyweight Nova Remixes Vol. 1. Each remix is equally as diverse and grimy as the original. They certainly don’t stray too far from RL Grime’s relentless sound and demand your full attention.

The album begins with Hex Cougar‘s remix of “Shrine.” Second and third up to bat are Enschway and Part Native‘s remixes of “Light Me Up” and “Undo,” a track you want to undo but rather redo. Myrne, TYNAN, and Eptic smash the stage for the middle tracks with their remixes of “OMG,” “Pressure,” and “Era.”

Kicking off the album’s wrap up is up-and-comer 1788-L’s take on “Era.” Swiveling into the last three remixes are OEDA, k?d, and Said The Sky’s ground-shaking takes on “I Wanna Know,” “Rainer,” and “Atoms.”

Earlier this year, RL Grime released the smashing Nova album. The 10-track album effortlessly grazes the low-end with unfathomable basses, glitching percussion, and ear-splitting synths.

The musician, producer, and DJ has already established himself within the electronic music scene. His sound has pushed the boundary with releases like “Light Me Up” and “I Wanna Know.” His Nova album features artists from Miguel to Chief Keef and Jeremih. Additionally, RL Grime is recognized for his annual Halloween mix. His 2018 mix, Halloween VII, opened with Shaquille O’Neal (DJ Diesel) and an appearance from RL Stine himself.
