Henry Alfred Steinway, better known by his experimental bass music alias RL Grime, continues wowing fans around the world. His forthcoming album, Nova, will see a slew of effervescent releases. To further tease the album, the bass music phenomena has shared a sizzling collaboration with Miguel and Julia Michaels called “Light Me Up.” Nova is slated for release on Friday, July 27.
“Light Me Up” combines the warmth of Miguel’s vocals and the angelic tonality of Julia Michaels’ vocals. The pop music elements that are fluent through make this piece slightly different than the usual bass music that RL Grime usually releases. Through these soothing elements RL Grime proves his fluidity as a multi-talented artist.
