Moe Shalizi, famed artist manager for Marshmello, Jauz, Ghastly, Ookay, Sikdope, among others, has left Red Light Management to start his own venture, The Shalizi Group.
The Shalizi Group will represent the aforementioned artists and Southside of 808 Mafia, Sumr Camp, and Slushii and will be headquartered in Los Angeles with a staff of 12.
“My four years at Red Light were nothing short of amazing and I am forever grateful for all that I learned from some of the best managers in the business,” says Shalizi.
Shalizi’s artists have topped the charts and dominated the airwaves. Marshmello has collaborated with artists like Migos, Khalid, Logic, Selena Gomez, and more just this year. Additionally, he’s the fourth most streamed artist in the world.
Marshmello inked a huge publishing and sync deal with Kobalt back in June of this year.
“We congratulate him on his success, and we look forward to working with Moe on other projects in the future,” says Bruce Eskowitz, COO at Red Light Management.
We would like to congratulate Moe on his new endeavors and wish him nothing but continued success with The Shalizi Group!
