Krewella and MADGRRL go rogue with hardstyle track ‘No Control’

Legendary dance music sister duo Krewella join forces with Los Angeles-based MADGRRL for stunning hardstyle/trap hybrid “No Control.”

“No Control” takes a much different spin with their sound than previous tracks. Their love for hardstyle music and heavy bass music provided them a paramount opportunity to link up with MADGRRL for an eccentric hardstyle tune. The latter part of the track transitions into their classic trap style, but the energy remains consistent throughout.

“It’s been years since we’ve made a track like this – dipping into our career-long love of hardstyle and heavy bass music, we wrote and produced this song to articulate the burgeoning chaos we’ve been craving since having a lack of human contact and indulgent experiences during the pandemic,” Krewella says about the track. “We tapped MADGRRL, whom we’ve known for almost 10 years, and has been making some of our favorite heavy dance tracks lately to help take this one to another level of wild.”

Last month, Krewella unleashed “Never Been Hurt,” a fiery deep house collaboration with Beauz.

Krewella have been on the forefront of the dance music scene for more than a decade. Their tracks like “Bitch of the Year,” “Alibi,” and “Come and Get It” have dominated clubs and playlists for equally as long.
