Krewella are your ‘Alibi’ in latest track & music video

'Alibi' is a sneak peek into what Krewella will be unraveling this year.

Kicking off their 2018 with a bang, Krewella have released their first single of the year, “Alibi.” A nostalgic music video accompanies this infectious track.

Last year, the electro-pop and dance duo finished up their New World Tour, and the “Alibi” music video is a recap of the epicness that ensued on the tour. In December of last year, they teamed up with Lookas to release “Alarm.”

The classically trained musicians and multi-talents’ vocals immediately reel in the listener in “Alibi.” As the track progresses, it expands and introduces stabbing synths, wide chords, and cavernous bass. The elements heard throughout are similar to those that can be heard in their track “Team,” which was released back in 2016.

Krewella have teased that they have a lot of music that’s slated to be released this year, and “Alibi” is peek into what we can expect to hear from the girls.

Krewella is an electronic music duo from Northbrook, Illionis that consists of sisters Jahan Yousaf and Yasmine Yousaf. The group was originally a trio, with their third member being Kristopher Trindl (Rain Man). Rain Man was removed from the group back in 2014. With successful albums and EPs like Play Hard and Get Wet, the duo is certainly a standout electronic act in the music industry.
