Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have made history with their landmark presidential win.

The American people have spoken. They turned out in record numbers to take back America’s dignity and vote in President-Elect Joe Biden and Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris. Their campaign received the most votes than any other American president, and Kamala Harris will become the first woman, person of color, and south Asian Vice President in the nation’s history.

The last four years have been rocky for a majority of Americans, and 2020 did not smooth out the ride one bit.

We’re in the midst of a global pandemic, and more than 220,000 Americans have lost their lives to the COVID-19 virus–many who I’m sure would be cheering alongside their fellow Americans. The American economy has tanked. And we’re on the verge of irreversible damage to the planet from climate change.

A sense of peace, unity, love, and respect has been restored because of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ presidential win.

Friends and family around the country and globe are feeling hopeful and optimistic about the four years ahead. There’s still a lot of fighting to do, and we’re confident that we’re going to get there. We must “keep the faith.”

And keep the faith we will.
