Jauz Sam Vogel DJ Snake

Jauz and DJ Snake have joined forces for a hardcore release of “Gassed Up,” the second release off of Jauz’s forthcoming album. Jauz’s album will feature a myriad of genres, blending bass house, UK-inspired garage, and drum n’ bass.

“Gassed Up” is the perfect festival anthem. It features a high energy rhythm with edgy synths and basses that are paramount to both producers’ sound and style. DJ Snake is known for his ability to flawlessly blend any sound and style together, and “Gassed Up” is a prime example. The track begins in subtlety and moves into the relentless drop that won’t let up. This collaboration is certainly not for the faint hearted.

Sam Vogel, better known by the Shark Squad as Jauz, is a dubstep producer, DJ, and musician. He grew up in northern California and started producing electronic music on his computer at the age of 15. Prior to latching onto the Jauz stage name, Vogel was producing future house tracks. Kennedy Jones played out one of Jauz’s remixes and introduced him to his current manager, Moe Shalizi, who greatly assisted him in getting his music released through Borgore’s Buygore label. At the beginning of his career, Vogel’s tracks immediately caused Diplo, Skrillex, and Borgore to turn an ear and pay attention.

William Sami Etienne Grigahcine, better known by his stage name of DJ Snake, is a French Grammy-nominated DJ and producer. He’s recognized for his chart-topping singles “Bird Machine,” “Lean On,” and “Turn Down For What.” His track “Bird Machine” caught the attention of Diplo’s Mad Decent label, which he eventually signed and released back in February of 2013.
