Renowned techno DJ and producer i_O, whose real name is Garrett Falls Lockhart, has passed away at the age of 30.
According to a post on his Instagram account, he passed away on Monday, November 23. The cause of i_O‘s death has not been shared at the time of this article’s posting.
The post reads, “This extremely talented spirit taught us that even if nothing matters, you can still lead with love. Garrett’s truth and soul lives on through the music he shared.”
His career recently saw a pivotal moment after he signed with Armada Music and launched his own label, Label 444. i_O also released a number of tracks through deadmau5‘s prestigious mau5trap label and Anjunabeats.
