Fabian Mazur and rising pop star Greyson Chance, who shot into the spotlight through YouTube with his cover of Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi,” truly shine their lights in their newest collaboration, “Lighthouse,” which is out now on Lowly Palace.
“Lighthouse” pairs the Danish producer’s subtle production chops with Chance’s warm and inviting vocals. Chance’s vocals introduce this piece, while Mazur’s production sits comfortably underneath. The drop features filtered plucks and a deep swelling synth. “Lighthouse” is a sonic masterpiece that proves infectious tracks don’t have to be overly complicated.
“When I initially heard Greyson’s vocals I knew that I had to take the production in an organic direction. I started the track in Copenhagen and then I finished it in Los Angeles, which makes this track really special to me. ‘Lighthouse’ is my interpretation of a modern electronic R&B sound anno 2018. I hope you guys dig it!” – Fabian Mazur
