Robin Schulz goes in with a deep house remix of Dan + Shay‘s Grammy-winning country hit, “Tequila.”
Dan + Shay (real names Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney) took home a Grammy at the 61st Grammy Awards for Best Country/Duo Performance on their “Tequila.” In an unlikely remix Robin Schulz goes to the deep side and provides a stunning summer anthem.
Schulz begins the track with his signature filtered electric guitars. The anticipation builds as he goes into a hefty four-on-the-floor rhythm and carries the remix with light sidechained synth pads. Schulz takes this country hit and beautifully maintains its original sound and tone while putting his trademark sound on it.
