World renowned songwriter and music producer RedOne and BTS’ Jung Kook have kicked the ball back and forth to one another for an impactful collaboration called “Dreamers,” the FIFA World Cup winner anthem. The track also features Fahad Al Kubaisi.
The track has already skyrocketed to No. 1 on the iTunes chart in more than 100 countries, and is No. 1 on Spotify’s worldwide charts. “Dreamers” took the internet by storm upon its release. 24-hours after its release on November 22, it garnered 20 million views.
This marks a huge milestone for “Dreamers” by becoming the most successful FIFA World Cup song of all time.
“First and foremost, I am a huge football fan, so to be part of the World Cup is a profound honor,” RedOne says in a press release shared with EDM In A Soda. “Music is synonymous with football – the emotion, the passion, the euphoria, the unexpected, the harmonious beauty, even the moments of deep reflection. And like football, music is also a universal language, it can break down barriers and truly unite people.”

A second single written and produced by RedOne, titled “Arhbo” and featured Ozuna an Gims, was also used as a soundtrack for the player’s entrance into the game.
The Official FIFA World Cup soundtrack was curated and crafted all under RedOne’s creative vision. He was appointed the Creative Entertainment Executive of FIFA back in December 2021. As a creative entertainment executive, RedOne is tasked with crafting new and exciting connections between football fans, music lovers, players, and artists. He fulfilled his role and duties and added another impressive notch under his belt.
“The World Cup is a festival as well as a competition, so when I signed up with FIFA, I wanted to capture that collective spirit,” RedOne adds. “I had a vision and concept to write and produce the first ever official soundtrack for the World Cup, collaborating with talent from both the region and from around the world.”
