Bryan Hingerton, better known as Bemah, and Mass Content don’t hold back in their newest collaboration dubbed “The Block.” This grueling original is a nod to MUST DIE!, Virtual Riot, and Zomboy.
“The Block” eerily begins with a sharp and bright bell pluck that floats into the pitched dark vocals and suspenseful pads. The grueling sound design doesn’t take long to get fired up. The drop unleashes into a bass mayhem with crunching mid-basses, plummeting sub basses, and a slapping snare sample. Thick, juicy, and unpredictable is what we enjoy hearing in bass music. This maniacal track flows fluidly throughout its entire duration with this relentless sound design, and Bemah and Mass Content know exactly how to execute it.
Bemah is currently being mentored by Samplifire of Disciple Records, and he’s quickly grabbing hold of the underground bass music scene.
