Bass house maven AC Slater‘s Night Bass label has joined Create Music Group‘s roster in a new joint venture.
Create Music Group is one of the leading media and technology companies that enables artists and creators to focus on their careers. They recently signed Dillon Francis’ DJ Hanzel to a global distribution deal. To celebrate this new partnership, AC Slater released his third studio album, Together, which features collaborations with Kaleena Zanders, Jay Robinson, and Chris Lorenzo, among others.
Together contains nine hard-hitting, four-on-the-flour anthems that carry a dark energy throughout, while maintaining a booming groove. The album’s second track, “Night Rider,” featuring Scrufizzer, is a glorious blend of pummeling kicks and bottomless swirling bass.
AC Slater closes out Together with “Screenshots,” a beautiful collaboration with Badger and Murkage Dave. The track places a euphoric mixture of of deep house elements mixed with oh-so-crispy percussion and hats.
“AC Slater is an incredible talent with whom we’ve had a long and successful track record,” Eric Nguyen, CMG’s SVP of Global Corporate Development and M&A, said in a press release shared with EDM In a Soda. “We are thrilled to deepen our relationship with AC as we work to expand the global audience for him and all of the artists on Night Bass.”
AC Slater adds: “I love being able to support the next generation of DJs and artists. Someone paved the way for us, and we’re paving the way for someone else. Moving Night Bass over to my longtime friends at Create Music Group will give my artists and me even more resources and technology to expand our audiences all over the world.”
Recognized for his pioneering contributions to bass house, AC Slater has performed on the industry’s biggest stages, including EDC Las Vegas, Coachella, Lollapalooza, and more.
