2018 is setting up to be yet another extraordinarily successful year for the electronic music scene. 3LAU took to Facebook to announce his 2018 tour and first album, Ultraviolet. The tour begins on December 30 in Las Vegas, Nevada at the Brooklyn Bowl, and tickets go on sale on November 27, with more to be added in 2018.
3LAU’s tour will take him to 20 different locations around the United States, including Chicago, Illinois, Columbus, Ohio, and Atlanta, Georgia among others. Joining him will be a few of electronic music’s quickly rising prodigies like Elephante, SNBRN, and Throttle. 3LAU states that the Ultraviolet tour will bring about a handful of new elements, including “Playing new sets in a completely new style for me, made up entirely of my own music, edits, and unreleased songs.”
Justin Blau is the genius behind the 3LAU moniker. He’s an electronic dance music producer and DJ. He’s based in Las Vegas, Nevada and has dominated the turntables at some of the most world-renowned festivals, including Electric Zoo in New York and EDC Vegas. He has no shortage of production skills within a multitude of genres, but his style most often frequents the electro house, progressive house, dubstep, and deep house genres and is well-known for immersive use of synths and samples.
